I do commissioned watercolor portraits that I create from your personal photographs. The commission process is quite simple and can be accomplished in person, via phone or email.
Your photo should be of the best quality possible to insure a pleasing finished portrait. Most of my portraits are sold matted but I am totally open to working with each client to make sure I can meet their individual preferences. I will also meet with you in my studio and take photos if you have none to use for reference. This service is included in my pricing. All shipping costs are billed to the client at actual cost. Shipping costs depend on the portrait size and city location in the event your portrait must be shipped.
Price Range (Shipping/Sales Tax NOT Included) One Subject (additional subjects = 1/2 of original price)
$100.00 for a 9" x 12" matted portrait
$200.00 for an 11" x 14" matted portrait
$300.00 for a 16" x 20" matted portrait
There is a 25% non-refundable deposit required prior to starting the portrait to cover my supplies. However, I guarantee all of my portraits so that if you do not like the finished product..you are not required to purchase it.
The painting process usually takes from 2 - 3 weeks depending on the current flow of my orders.
